Our last...

                                 This was our last night in Ireland...

We had a lovely drive across Ireland from Dingle to Wicklow aka
"the Garden of Ireland". We stayed at this vintage lodge / in a forest setting / Hotel Glendalough ...along with other guests 'n residents.    :>)

                   

            Adjacent to the hotel property are the ruins of a Monastic settlement.

This round tower is 100 ft high with 6 floors.

Next day we drove north to Dublin to return our rental car 

'n fly over to Rotterdam. In route...

     ...we visited the Powerscourt/Estate ~ 700 aces ~ created 1858-1875. 

 These Victorian Age Gardens are known as the

 "Grand Finale" of the formal gardening tradition in Europe.
