We arrived early Sunday a.m. just in time to hear the bells in the church square.

Not much open.. except the bakery!

We drove north of Koper enjoying colorful homes + "WA Green" country scenes.

Our destination was the underground caves up north.

Hopefully this pix (of a pix) shows the size of the Skocjan Caves we toured. The bridge we walked across is at the top of the pix.  Their last flooding had the water level just below that bridge.

On the bottom left is part of the 3 mile walk.

In that same area is Predjama Grad ....burrowed into the side of a mountain.
