Portland, Maine

Our arrival... at sunrise

                           Lunenburg was all wood construction, and Portland is built of                                bricks including all the sidewalks in their original town !

Walkabout of the old town, then we drove north to ...

....a visit to the L L Bean Flagship store.

Then drove south of Portland, to....

Kennebunk Port 

this is another delightful sea town.....and their steeple .

Goodbye.... to Portland

Boston !!

We didn't have much shore time today...but did go to their Musee of Fine Arts !

Chihuly was there !!!

Sail away from the Boston Harbor.... with great weather today @ 78 degrees.

And yes here we are again....
in a cute, charming "little" town along the shoreline !!

We took a bus tour of Acadia Nat'l Park.....lovely with fall color.

St. John, New Brunswick

St. John has an interesting downtown...so many heritage bldgs 

Colorful floral displays along the city streets.

And there we are in port right along side the boardwalk 
that goes from their city center ...right out to our ship.

The "reverse waterfall" ..... 
the Bay of Fundy tides make the river run backward.

We drove north to see St. Martin...a small fishing village.

Quaint + lovely  and.....yummy Lobster Rolls !  :>)

Halifax, Nova.Scotia

We arrived in Halifax @ 70 degree warm 'n sunny ! 

We picked up our rental car and headed southwest to....

This 1700's fishing village is ....."as it was"

Block after block of colorful buildings... overlooking their picturesque harbor.

Homes...

Business..

Churches...

Schools..

Lunenburg...what a charming, colorful, and quaint place ! Then....

...............driving on,on thru the country side

....till we arrived at Peggy's Cove....another fishing village !!
 It is said this is the  "most photographed lighthouse"

....a lovely afternoon is such a charming place !!
