Arrived ! !!!!

.....sadly tis a Sunday, so shops shuttered.

We walked their beach....

.....enjoyed their flowers !

and ....an island bus tour !

San Juan / Puerto Rico

Our first port...a city filled with color !

We docked right down town = 2 sunny, warm days ! Great start to this cruise !

The old town is surrounded by historic walls  ~ 16th century

WE had a great time exploring their old city !

Off we go    ...now onto our next port !!!!!!

Vicksburg

This Battlefield and one @ Gettysburg were the defining battles of the Civil War.

One of 7 iron clad battleships of the northern fleet. 
Sunk by a mine. Then in the 1970's recovered 'n reassembled.

Carlsbad Caverns

We were allllll alone in these areas !

The largest underground room = the size of 12+ acres

Amazon Cruise

RVing across to Ft Lauderdale, fly to Puerto Rico, start cruise on Viking ship = Feb.20

Last Port...

at... Ensenada + a bit misty ! Cruised back to LA.
Flew from Long Beach to AZ.  Great Trip !!

4. Catalina Isle !

My long awaited trip to this Island...a small village, home of C.Isle pottery,
their 1930's Theatre, and ...no cars !     Still as it was then...

The Bay...and town (as it always was)

The Casino = Dance Hall was built in 1930's
