...as well as these buildings.

AND our favorite !  Jardin Botanique 
which is spread over 185 acres  ....wonderful gardens !

We really enjoyed their 10 large exhibition greenhouses 
that were filled with plants.

Montreal...this was a great city to visit !

Our Montreal "home" is a converted / former fur warehouse from 1723   
...just 9 rooms. The perfect place !!

This building was located on the then main street of early Montreal...
just up from the St. Lawrence River. 

Original mortared stone walls w/ wood beams everywhere in this cheery inn....

Ottawa Sites

Parliament Hill...said to be the world's best example of Gothic Revival architecture.

...and behind that "Centreblock" bldg is the 16 sided Library of Parliament, built 1876

And behind that Library, is this river scene. That newer bldg is...

....the Museum of Civilizations.  We really enjoyed their impressive displays 'n exhibits. 

Native American...with many N.W. totem poles.

Special exhibit on Maya civilization........and of course, there was Canadian History.

Ottawa's ByWard Market ....fresh, fresh !

 + more floral containers... everywhere!

 a damp.....but delightful visit to Canada's capital !

Our 10 Best of Toronto

 Toronto son, Frank Gehry, designed the Art Gallery of Ontario.
 Includes many Henry Moore sculptures.

 Distillery District founded in 1832, was reinvented in 2003...
great use of heritage buildings.

 Casa Loma was built in 1910's. 
Private residence @ cost of 3.5 million.

 St Lawrence Market....all fresh shopping 'n eating.

 Walka'bout thru China Town....huge area.

 Visit to Gardiner Ceramic Museum.

 Old City Hall across the street from .....

......their 1950's aka newer City Hall.

Old + new are side by side thru out this city....

And flowers are everywhere in this city.....
