Dresden, Germany

Perfect location for us in Dresden. 
Our hotel faces the huge Altmarket Square. 
We could see all the activity from our room, just above the portico.

And....we could look across the street at their Symphony Hall.
Enjoyed watching folks "dressed" for the evening performances.

And...this is the view behind that Symphony Hall. 
All the historical buildings are clustered together 
and so only a few minutes away. 

The Frauenkirche was built in 17th c. 
The aerial attacks on Dresden in 1945, collapsed the church. 
It has been reconstructed from 1990-2005.
