Oh, so charming...

These village scenes were all taken in the Basse-Ville = Lower Town, 
along the St-L.River.

Place-Royale is considered the birthplace of French America. 
Their town market was held in this plaza in the early 1600's. 




 This is the oldest stone church in Quebec City and was rebuilt in 1688 
after a massive fire which occurred in this lower town.
