Corner Brook, N.F.L.

Departure from Quebec City, our first port is....

Welcome to this town, but it was Sunday and no rental car available.
It was a sunny warm day for a walk along their trails.
And ...
Jim hiked up to the hill to the view site + surveyed this area, just like Capt. Cook

Oh, so charming...

These village scenes were all taken in the Basse-Ville = Lower Town,
along the St-L.River.

Place-Royale is considered the birthplace of French America.
Their town market was held in this plaza in the early 1600's.

This is the oldest stone church in Quebec City and was rebuilt in 1688
after a massive fire which occurred in this lower town.
Charming + Colorful in Basse-Ville !!

Quebec City..

We left Montreal + it took just a couple hours to get to our RV campground. This is where we will leave our motor home, while we are on our 2 week cruise.
A lovely campground, but since their season is over... it's kinda empty.
A short drive to town of Levis, where we took their small commuter ferry across the St. Lawrence River.... this was our first view of Quebec City.
Impressive !!
